MEET OUR PASTOR

Pastor Grayson Smith has led ID Clifton since 2021 along with his wife, Sarah Grace, and their son, TJ.

 

Grayson grew up in Columbia, SC, and made the decision to attend SMC in Spartanburg, SC, where he acquired his Associates degree in Christian studies and, eventually, his Bachelors degree from Anderson University. He met his wife, Sarah Grace, while they were attending SMC and got married in 2019.

 

During this time, Grayson and Sarah Grace were looking for a church where they could find community and were met by a church planter from Cincinnati named Ricky Wilson who was leading a core team that would one day plant Impact Drayton in the Drayton Mills event center in Spartanburg.

 

After a few years, Impact Drayton would merge with a dying church of 12 members named Second Clifton Baptist Church in Clifton, SC to become ID Clifton Church. During this time, Grayson was called to make a transition as the lead Pastor while also transitioning into a new chapter of life with TJ on the way. After much prayer and deliberation with Sarah Grace, he accepted the call to Shepherd ID Clifton.

 

Pastor Grayson along with his wife, Sarah Grace, and their son, TJ, hope to continue to lead ID Clifton well by loving God, loving others and making disciples!
